Self Reliance

Things are moving now, there are office equipments, tables, chairs , lights and electricity in Mr China's lab. After goods are checked and verified, it would be shifted and finally he will have his separated operations. Finally Mr China will have his say and rule over the sales and marketing aspects of the JV company. Finally he can command his own team with the same dream and vision to work. All throughout last year, this has been the simple thing that he sought after, but apparently the undercurrents are far too strong.

Summarising situation , SnM activities of Mr China's Sg pdts are done through the chinese partner. They are our distributors. They have a present sales force with rather gd network. However the biggest problem is that they are mainly selling high end frames. Put in lenses, it is a totally game plan and things had not move after 3 years.... it is getting stale.

Therefore Mr China felt that his fate and performance were not under his control, the sales figure had to be achieved under the chinese partner. Rather than be dependent on them , he fought for a separation. This is done so he can be entirely in charge and have control. Not control over people, but control over the situation , so in case it fails, Mr China will dare raise his hand to admit it. It is taking a gamble , but he is fighting for it and biting that chance.

Many times Mr China felt unsure and unclear, needing pple to reaffirm his ideas , goals and mission. Or many a times Mr China felt downhearted and needed much encouragements. In short, Mr China had over-whined. Despite all the feel good words and all, he knows win/lose, he can only be dependent on himself : Self Reliance. Humans are resistant to changes, they generally submit to familiarity and to a common way of life. But keep in mind that things had to be done by himself: I cant run for you, so you gain fitness, I cant mediate, so you gain inner peace....... The thing is to accept that uncomfortable feeling, know it is a common resultant, like first day of school, but by the end of a 4 year phase, you cry to leave that place.

Great leaders have visions and give directions. Mr China now is rather unsure, he has his own views on the 4Ps to do , what are the products he would do, what prices and where he would sell them. However, it is that uncertainity that has been stopping him. He has been looking around for answers, pple to reaffirm his position, but he found comfort in none, if the chinese partner that had 50% of their own money in their, doesnt seem at all concern abt the slow development, is it just the way they work? or is there a secret agenda?

Mr China is experimenting and coming to terms that he is ALONE, no point to whine and scream for help, there will be none. Better save that energy for himself. He has to build a vision and mission for his support crew to believe and work towards. At the moment, he is learning, but not fast enough. He needs to bash things through more often........................

From a temple: Confidence comes from practise and discipline, you are not born with it. As it is situational. Discipline means completing every task you set out to do, no matter how small. This is to build up a "can do , must do" mentality within, telling yourself that you are an achiever. There will be no excuses to delay or drop a task. Practice means doing the actual things/tasks. General plans are made up of small details, and vice versa. By practising, you enter the minute details and form a detailed understanding of all aspects, to become a master in that field. From there, you come out to see a bigger picture. The bigger picture is made up of minute details.......

Another gd verse: Peace comes from within , do not seek without it............
the 2nd line is interesting as it is condescending , it ask you to seek it, but you cant seek it as it is within urself. Mr China would interpet as seeking it within urself, peace is inner, you cannot find it from other places...... again ..... self reliance..........
